Threads of Memories (2025)

"Threads of Memories" is a deeply personal body of work that explores my childhood, cultural identity, and the longing for a connection I once neglected. Growing up in Kerala, I distanced myself from my cultural roots. It wasn’t until I moved overseas that I realized how much my heritage shaped me—yet I felt disconnected from it.

This series is my way of reclaiming that lost part of myself, using my late grandmother’s saree as both a literal and symbolic canvas. The saree’s presence beneath the paint blurs the line between past and present, allowing memory to physically seep through.
